NEWS: Congratulations to Pat Hendricks Sensei for her recent promotion to 7th Dan!! Her rank was announced by Aikido Sandai Doshu Moriteru Ueshiba on the occasion of the Kagamibiraki (New Year's) ceremony, 9 January 2012, at Aikikai Hombu Dojo, Tokyo, Japan. Sensei Hendricks is the only female in the world, possessing the rank of 7th Dan, who runs an organization.
