Instructors
Adrianne Wonnacott, Godan, Aikido West. Adrianne began her practice at Stanford Aikido in 1993. She regularly trains with Frank Doran Shihan and Cyndy Hayashi Shihan. She started traveling regularly to seminars with Hayashi Shihan and Doran Shihan in the late 90’s. Some of her other influences include Mitsugi Saotome, Hiroshi Ikeda, Christian Tissier, Mary Heiny, Yamada Sensei, and Clyde Takeguchi.
Jay Hartley, Godan, Aikido of Livermore. Jay started training at Aikido of Livermore in 1992. In addition to assisting with adult classes, Jay leads our children’s program. Outside of Aikido, he also holds a sandan in Toyama Ryu.
Noah Levine, 4th dan, Aikido of San Leandro. Noah started training Aikido at Penn State University with Jim Sullivan Sensei in 2013. He’s been uchi deshi, training, traveling and taking ukemi for Patricia Hendricks Shihan since 2014. He’s also practiced gymnastics and competing since he was 18 months old and until he found the Aikido.
